Halleck Creek Ranch’s signature event
to raise funds to support its therapeutic
horseback riding program for Bay Area
youth and adults with special needs is
back. Enjoy a VIP reception featuring wine tasting and a selection of local cheeses,
as well as dining under the stars with preferred seating for sponsors and VIP. Music
is by Buck Nickels and Loose Change. The event honors Temple Grandin with the
Halleck Creek Ranch Silver Buckle Award for her dedication to advocating on behalf
of people with autism and for her love and promotion of humane animal practices.
Grandin is a world-recognized speaker and writer whose life story is portrayed in
the movie Temple Grandin. There will also be live and silent auctions of one-of-a-
kind items including travel, food, jewelry, wines and other goodies.
