attended the 18th annual Valentine’s Ball February 8 at
the Marin Civic Center, which featured cocktails, hors
d’oeuvres, fine dining, dancing and auctions. This year’s
ball honored Marin-based charitable agencies.

Telile “Lily” Yoseph was honored in San Francisco at the
February 23 event by the Dalai Lama for her efforts to help
Ethiopian girls get an education and rise above poverty.
